We believe your consumer choices matter and you make a difference by supporting sustainable fisheries through your seafood purchases. We have been committed from the start to empower our customers to make choices for healthy oceans by ordering select seafood products from sustainable fisheries.

WHAT IS “SUSTAINABLE SEAFOOD”?

We believe that seafood from sources that can exist over the long-term without compromising species’ survival or the health of the surrounding ecosystem are sustainable.  We favor conservation of the resource in the face of scientific uncertainty and promote fisheries that support community based business.

OUR PLEDGE: SUSTAINBILITY & TRANSPARENCY

We pledge to offer our customers ONLY seafood items rated as sustainable by the Monterey Bay Aquarium SEAFOOD WATCH program, and will not serve any items from their “Avoid” list. All of the fish in our fresh case are now labeled to show where the seafood is from, how it was caught and the sustainability rating.
